KINGSTON, N.Y. — Three area residents will be recognized for their creativity, service and artistic vision later this month by the Midtown Kingston Arts District.

Ward Mintz and Barbara Scott will receive the Red Goat Award “for their unwavering service and commitment to fostering Kingston’s arts and culture,” the organization announced.

Since its founding, the Red Goat Award has celebrated those who champion the arts and enrich the Kingston community through creativity, dedication, and service, MDAD said in an announcement, adding that each year, the MKAD Board of Directors selects honorees “whose impact is both remarkable and enduring.”

Sui Jenneris will receive the 2025 Todd Samara Art Award.
