SIDNEY, Ind. -- The Sidney Fire Department reports crews responded to a house fire on 700 E. around 1:04 a.m., Friday.

Firefighters arrived to find the house engulfed in flames.

Fire officials say the homeowners were able to get out of the home uninjured.

Crews from several area fire departments were requested to assist at the scene.

Officials say crews battled the fire for over five hours. Share
