Move your vehicles – City of Lethbridge declares snow routes

Snow routes are being activated in Lethbridge.

As of 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, on-street parking will not be permitted on snow routes.

The City of Lethbridge says the declaration allows them to plow streets without having to move around parked vehicles. This means better clearing of snow and less risk to the owners of vehicles.

If vehicles remain parked on an active snow route: • Vehicles may be subject to parking tickets • Plows will clear snow around vehicles, which may make access difficult and limit snow-clearing operations • Vehicles may be damaged by snow-clearing equipment

Roads along snow routes can be identified by a snowflake above parking signs.
