WASHINGTON — A 20-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man were identified by US Attorney for DC Jeanine Pirro as the two West Virginia National Guard members who were shot near the White House.
Sarah Beckstrom and Andrew Wolfe were both in critical condition on Thursday, according to Pirro, both National Guard members had undergone surgery at MedStar Washington Hospital Center.
Pirro laid blame on former President Joe Biden and his handling of the U.S. withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan for the suspect's entry into the United States.
"He entered the United States under Biden's Operation Allies Welcome, a program following the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan," Pirro said.
