A Stinnett woman was killed and five others — including three children — were injured on Thanksgiving when an SUV rolled over on State Highway 207 about eight miles south of Borger, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The crash happened at about 2:24 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 27 in a curve on the roadway. DPS said a 2020 Ford F-350, being driven by an 18-year-old from Sanger, was traveling south when it veered into the northbound lane of the highway.

A 2005 Ford Expedition being driven by 42-year-old Curtis Floyd of Stinnett was headed north in the same curve. Troopers said Floyd swerved to avoid a collision and successfully avoided striking the pickup, but then overcorrected the steering, and the SUV rolled.
