(Re: “Open hostility toward women should never be normalized,” Aspen Daily News, Nov. 22)

Have we ever had such a deceitful, disrespectful, misogynistic, uncivil, hateful, mean, vindictive, bigoted person as our country’s president? I think not!

We are the laughingstock of the world and no longer respected. What a disgraceful and despicable human being. It is hard to believe that over half of the country voted for him.

Obviously the people wanted a change. Well, that is what they got, and it’s not a change for the better. Hopefully, the pendulum will swing back sooner rather than later.
