An Amagansett mansion set on 8.5 acres has traded hands for $115 million — the highest price ever paid for a single residential parcel in the Hamptons. The sale of the property was first reported by Behind the Hedges .

The deal closed in late July, according to the outlet, and not a whisper was heard until the deed transfer hit public records this month.

The shroud of secrecy around the sale suggests its dealmakers are under legal lock-and-key.

The home is located on coveted Further Lane, one of the most expensive streets in the country.

The brokerages involved are unknown, but an anonymous source told Behind The Hedges that the new owner of the waterfront property is Ukrainian-born billionaire Sir Len Blavatnik.
