Bristol Rovers’ new signing Callum Morton is keen to “hit the ground running,” after signing for the club ahead of the game against Notts County.

The 25-year-old attacker has joined Rovers on a short-term deal after most recently spending his time on loan at Northampton Town from Salford City in the 2024/25 season.

He has not played a competitive match since picking up a knee injury for Northampton against Wrexham in October 2024.

Morton has played 109 times across League One and Two, gaining promotion from the fourth tier with the Cobblers in the 2019/20 season. He scored eight goals in 12 games for Keith Curle's side, including in both the Play-Off Semi-Final and Fin
