NEWTON COUNTY, Ga. — If you've ever wanted to own an old law enforcement vehicle — or perhaps a 1966 Ford Thunderbird — tomorrow's your chance in Newton County.

The Newton County Sheriff's Office will hold a public auction on Saturday, November 29 in which a range of retired and seized vehicles will be sold.

The auction listing stresses that all items will be sold "as is." Lt. Tony Howard with the sheriff's office told 11Alive the auctioneers will frank up the vehicles to show whether they still run or not, then proceed with auctioning them off.

Among the seized items are a 1966 Ford Thunderbird, 2007 BMW 238i and boats.

Lt. Howard told 11Alive the actual auction may also include some vehicles that did not make it onto the published auction list in time.
