SAUGERTIES, N.Y. — Fresh from its premiere at the Woodstock Film Festival in October, Jon Bowermaster’s film “The Keeper” will screen at the Orpheum on Sunday, Nov. 30, at 4 p.m., hosted by the Hudson River Maritime Museum and Upsate Films.

“Cantankerous, charismatic and passionately committed, this river keeper — John Lipscomb — reflects on his 25 years patrolling the Hudson, traveling more than 80,000 miles, by wooden boat, helping defend America’s First River while also highlighting the ongoing challenges and reasons for hope for the future of the Hudson,” a description about the film stated.
