FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER STORM WARNING for all of Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio from 7 am Saturday to 7 pm Sunday. First Alert Weather Days are also in effect for both Saturday and Sunday, a call we made Tuesday of this week. While the entire region is under the warning, not everyone will see the same snow amounts!

TIMING

The timeline of this storm system hasn’t changed much. I believe the start time window will more realistically be between noon and 2 pm Saturday (versus 10 am to noon). System snow is expected to end by sunrise Sunday morning, with perhaps some additional, spotty lake effect snow accumulations of an inch or two possible Sunday afternoon and evening.
