COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person is in critical condition after a crash involving multiple vehicles on Interstate 71 on Friday morning.

The crash happened on I-71 South just before Weber Road around 11:45 a.m. A spokesperson with the Columbus Division of Police said at last one person was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Additional information was not immediately provided.

I-71 was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
