JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Missourians will soon be able to legally place sports bets for the first time, ending the state’s prohibition practice.
The Missouri Gaming Commission has indicated that six temporary mobile licenses and 5 temporary retail licenses are set to launch on Monday, Dec. 1.
The move comes after voters approved the measure in November 2024.

“The days of Missourians having to cross state lines or put their financial data at risk by visiting an illegal, offshore website to bet on sports are officially over,” said Jack Cardetti, a spokesperson for the Sport Betting Alliance.
