DALLAS — Anthony Davis is expected to play for the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night against the Los Angeles Lakers, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
Charania reported Friday around noon that Davis, who hasn't played in a month with a calf strain , "plans to return to action against the Lakers."
Friday night's game would be Davis' first time playing against the Lakers since they traded him to Dallas in exchange for Luka Doncic.
Tipoff is scheduled for 9 p.m. CT/7 p.m. PT at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The game will be broadcast on Amazon Prime Video.
