DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Four people were hospitalized after a car crashed through a gas station in DeKalb County, causing a dramatic flare-up and large amounts of smoke to billow.
It happened just before 2 a.m. at a BP station on Bouldercrest Road, DeKalb Police said.
The department did not have many details, but said there were no fatalities.
Video provided to 11Alive's Cody Alcorn by Instagram user @g2g_spin showed the aftermath, with smoke billowing up and around all throughout the main gas station awning and the car lodged into a portion of the convenience mart, with some flames shooting out of the smoke.
The video was taken just as a fire truck was arriving.
The full extent of the damage at the gas station was not clear as of Friday afternoon.
