MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Morgantown-based technology start-up accelerator Vantage Ventures is nearing the end of its third cohort under the program’s redefined operating model, which leaders say focuses on flexibility and adaptability in the tech industry.

Vantage Ventures Executive Director Dr. Ryan Angus took over the program in 2024, making sweeping changes to how Vantage Ventures supports fledgling entrepreneurs. A cohort of 13 tech start-ups has been working through the program this fall, and Angus noted that since each cohort has needed different kinds of support, Vantage has had to adapt in order to best serve the businesses.
