SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) - Sinbad’s on McCarran Boulevard in Sparks is temporarily closed after a truck crashed into the business on Tuesday, November 25th. The driver reportedly suffered a medical episode leading up to the collision, according to Sparks city councilman Donald Abbott.

The restaurant’s owner says no one was inside at the time of the accident. The crash severely damaged the front door of the business and also impacted a support beam.

The owner says most of the damage has been cleaned up and she is now working with her insurance provider to assess next steps.

A GoFundMe page has been set up by supporters of the business for anyone who would like to donate to help the owner as they work to reopen the restaurant. Donations will go toward covering the costs associated with damag
