HOUSTON — QB1 is back for the Houston Texans .

Quarterback C.J. Stroud, who missed the last three games while in concussion protocol, will start Sunday in a critical division showdown with the first-place Colts in Indianapolis. It’s a game you can watch live on KHOU 11 at noon.

Backup Davis Mills led the Texans to three straight wins while Stroud was out.

Aside from Stroud, safety Jalen Pitre also cleared concussion protocol and is expected to return Sunday. Defensive end Will Anderson Jr., who was held out of practice most of the week with a chest injury, returned Friday.

When asked about his status, Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans said, “Will is fine.”
