In its upcoming meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 3, the Butte County Water Commission is set to receive updates on the various groundwater recharge projects as well as activities surrounding recharge investigations.

A presentation will be provided by Christina Buck with the Butte County Department of Water and Resource Conservation as well as Joe Turner of Geosentec, an outside consultant.

According to the agenda, “Staff and consultants will provide an update on the Recharge Feasibility Analysis project funded by the Vina Sustainable Groundwater Management grant and being implemented by the Department. Mr. Turner will describe the field investigation and pilot project activities that have occurred at identified recharge areas in the Vina Subbasin. Ms. Buck will provide an update on the progres
