1DC arrests three in cold case murder after nearly two-year investigation
Washington, DC – It took nearly two years, but three men now face first-degree murder charges in the 2024 shooting death of Malik Gliss, who was found fatally wounded inside a Southeast DC apartment in broad daylight.
On a quiet Thursday afternoon in January of last year, first responders rushed to the 3500 block of 6th Street SE after a call came in about an unconscious man. Inside the unit, officers discovered 31-year-old Malik Gliss, dead at the scene from gunshot wounds. What followed was a lengthy investigation that spanned neighborhoods and jurisdictions.
