Boston Police report arresting a man they charge chased at least three people with a knife along Orleans Street on Wednesday evening.

According to police, officers responded to a 911 call about a man with a knife on Orleans Street near Gove Street around 7:20 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers immediately located the suspect, and recovered a knife from inside his right jean pocket. While on scene, officers were approached by two victims who stated that as they were walking their dog down the street, the suspect approached them and scraped a knife on the sidewalk. Both victims fled the area, but the suspect continued to follow them.

Moments later, officers were advised of another victim who stated that the suspect swung the knife and attempted to stab him. No reported injuries from either incid
