Tulane football head coach Jon Sumrall is expected to decide on his coaching future on Sunday, according to ESPN's Peter Thamel.

According to Thamel, Sumrall is choosing between staying at Tulane or considering other options, including Florida and Auburn. Advertisement

Florida was in pursuit of Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin but it has been reported that he is no longer a candidate.

Kiffin is expected to decide on Friday after the Egg Bowl, with him being LSU's top candidate.

Sumrall is in his second season as Tulane's head coach.

Under Sumrall, Tulane is 18-7 overall and 13-2 in conference play.

This season, the Green Wave are 9-2 overall and 6-1 in the American Conference.
