UPDATE: (11/27/2025, 11:23 p.m.) -- In an update to a crash report filed Thursday morning, November 27, 2025, the Missouri Highway Patrol has announced the death of the 40 year old driver at University Hospital. The report says she was pronounced just after 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening.
COOPER COUNTY, Mo - A Branson woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident this morning in Cooper County.
The accident occurred just before 2 at the intersection of Missouri Route 135 and Lang Road. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol a car driven by a 40-year-old Branson woman exited the right side of the road and struck an embankment before becoming airborne. The vehicle then overturned, ejecting the driver.
She suffered serious injuries and was taken to University Hospital in Columbia for
