A binman was caught by police with far more than just rubbish. The wagon was pulled over by patrolling officers who discovered the vehicle was not insured or had it's MOT.
Further investigations revealed the driver was also allegedly under the influence of drugs behind the wheel, and was not licenced. Photos shared by Greater Manchester Police show the large vehicle pulled over to one side on a main road.
In a post shared on X, formerly Twitter yesterday, GMP Traffic wrote: "A bin wagon was stopped by #CVU officers today. Sadly, the driver’s driving credentials had already been taken out with the rubbish. No licence, no insurance or mot, and drug driving. We’re all for reducing waste — but not this kind of cutting corners! #arrested." View 2 Images
