MARION, Ohio — A woman is dead and a man was injured in a single-vehicle crash in Marion on Thursday evening, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers were called on a report of a crash on West Columbia Street around 9:40 p.m.
OSHP said a Jaguar XJ was traveling westbound on West Columbia Street when it hit a parked car on the north side of the road.
The front passenger, 40-year-old Colleen Foster, of Marion, was taken to Marion General Hospital with serious injuries. She was later taken to Grant Medical Center, where she died.
The male driver was taken to Marion General Hospital and treated for minor injuries.
OSHP is investigating the crash and says impairment is suspected. They said that neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
