A crash on the M25 has sparked major traffic in Essex this evening, with drivers trapped in 11-mile long queues and facing delays of 100 minutes above usual journey times.
Severe traffic is reported on the M25 clockwise near Great Warley, after a collision between junction 29 and junction 30. Drivers are facing 100-minute delays, according to National Highways.
A National Highways spokesperson said in a statement this evening: "Lanes 3 and 4 (of 4) are closed on the M25 clockwise between J29 (near Upminster) and J30 (near Aveley) due to a collision . There is currently approx. 7.5 miles of congestion on approach, causing delays of 50 minutes above usual journey times." 20:24 Zahra Khaliq
