Ipswich Town's six-game unbeaten run came to an end with a 2-1 defeat at Oxford United this evening.
Sindre Walle Egeli spurned two good chances in the opening exchanges, before Azor Matusiwa's mistake led to Mark Harris putting the hosts ahead (24).
Leif Davis' excellent volleyed finish at a corner got the Blues level early in the second half (53), but Oxford's subs had the greater impact and Przemysław Płachet finished a rapid counter-attack (77) to win it.
Town miss out on a chance to move up to second in the Championship table. Seven different teams could move above them with victories tomorrow.
