Dexter Lawrence, the New York Giants All-Pro defensive tackle, “has a chance” to play on Monday against the New England Patriots despite missing another practice on Friday due to his elbow injury. That was interim head coach Mike Kafka’s assessment.
Lawrence missed the last five games of the 2024 season due to a dislocated elbow. His current injury involves the same elbow. He played just 36 snaps, his second-lowest total of the season, Sunday against the Detroit Lions.
Lawrence could be one of several starting defenders out of the lineup Monday when Charlie Bullen debuts as the team’s interim defensive coordinator.
