A massive avalanche struck the Stubai Glacier in Austria on November 27 that buried several skiers. A spokesperson for the Austrian Alps resort operator, Stubai Glacier Lifts, said eight people were buried, four of whom sustained minor injuries, as search and rescue efforts lasted roughly four hours.
