The lead barrister in the prosecution of Slobodan Milosevic has welcomed the news that police will examine evidence linking Jill Dando's murder to the former Serbian dictator.
Sir Geoffrey Nice KC previously called for the Met Police to look into Milosevic's brutal assassin Milorad Ulemek in relation to Jill's death. At the time the Crimewatch star was killed in 1999, Ulemek was a senior member of the JSO, a 500-man unit of the Serbian Intelligence Service that murdered Milosevic's enemies, including his former friend Ivan Stambolic.
