Two people were taken to a hospital after their car crashed into a power pole and a street light in Van Nuys Friday.

The crash happened on Victory Boulevard near Sepulveda Boulevard at around 1:39 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

NewsChopper4 was overhead when it captured the images of the overturned vehicle, likely from the impact of the collision.

Two people were rescued from the car and taken to a hospital, police said.

One of the victims was in critical condition, according to the LAPD.

The ages and genders of the injured people were not immediately available.
