NEW YORK (WABC) -- A majority of New York City's outdoor dining will come to a close on Saturday.
Licenses for roadway sheds expire at the end of the day.
Participation in the outdoor dining program declined markedly this year, with restaurants complaining about added fees and stricter regulations.
Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani has indicated that he would like to permit dining sheds year-round.
Under the current rules, sidewalk setups are okay through the winter.
