Melodia, recognizing that during the holiday season it can be difficult for many in the community, in both a sense of community and food insecurity, the choir will be performing the concert, A Light Hearted Christmas, an evening of fun and good cheer to help raise funds for the Gananoque and Area Food Bank. Music will be fun and uplifting, the perfect blend for a holiday concert.
“Christmas is a time for giving back,” said George Horton, a member of the choir group Melodia. “So many people struggle to put food on the table, not only at Christmas but all year long. We at Melodia want to do our part to help with the (local) food bank. Many people are struggling, and this may make their holiday season a little bit brighter.”
