AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The City of Amarillo is working with community partners to provide shelter and transportation for people without housing as bitterly cold temperatures move into the Panhandle next week.

Cold weather shelters will open around Amarillo when temperatures drop below freezing.

Daytime and nighttime shelter locations

Daytime warming centers will include the PARC , Guyon Saunders , Faith City Mission and the Downtown Amarillo Public Library.

Nighttime shelters include Transformation Park Safe Space , the Salvation Army , the evening shelters at Faith City Mission and the Code Blue Warming Station .
