Accused testifies drugs he had taken made him delusional
Murder suspect Dennis George Hart testified Friday he feared for his life, believed his ex-girlfriend had been victimized by a sex-ring and was “delusional” on an unknown drug supplied by his alleged victim.
Hart told defence counsel Robin McIntyre he has little memory of the brutal attack on his drinking buddy, Sean Barber, who was stabbed four dozen times in his northwest Calgary home.

Hart said his memory of events were severely impacted the morning of Sept. 12, 2023, after he did four “hot rails” of what he believed was methamphetamine supplied by Barber, at whose home he was staying for a week.
