TIGERTON, Wis. (WBAY) - Two people were injured during a fire in Tigerton on Wednesday night.
Just after 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday, the Tigerton Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire on Pine Street.
On-scene, first responders found a two-story house that was fully engulfed. They called in additional departments from the area and were able to put the fire out.
Crews found a person in the driveway who had suffered 3rd-degree burns, and another had suffered from smoke inhalation. A helicopter landing zone was established, and one person was airlifted by Aspirus Medevac. The other person was taken to a hospital by Wittenberg Ambulance.
Fire crews say the home is considered a total loss. Firefighters were on scene for about 5 hours, and no firefighter injuries were reporte
