A single-vehicle crash was causing big delays on I-84 in Waterbury on Friday evening. Nov. 28.

The wreck occurred in the westbound lanes between exits 19 and 20, approaching Highway 8, around 5:15 p.m., Connecticut State Police told Daily Voice. Nobody was injured.

The two right lanes were blocked for nearly an hour. 

A fire truck and tow truck were seen off to the shoulder around 6:15 p.m., with most of the scene cleared, a motorist told Daily Voice. Traffic was slowing from the Union Street exit.
