WARRENSBURG, Ill. (WAND) - Black Friday means the unofficial start to the holiday shopping season. As you get ready to buy gifts for everyone on your list, local businesses are asking you to consider checking out their selections, over the big box stores.

" It makes a huge difference to us," said Aryn Callarman, co-owner of the Perfect Pair. "We're local, our vendors are local, the money stays local. You're not just supporting us and our families, but you're supporting our vendors and their families, too."

The Perfect Pair is home to more than 40 vendors. Most of the vendors live in the Central Illinois area. Callarman said they are very dedicated to ensuring they have quality products for everyone.
