RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - A woman was hospitalized after she was shot early Friday morning, according to Richmond Police.

Around 2:15 a.m. on Nov. 28, Richmond Police was called to the 100 block of North 18th Street in Shockoe Bottom for a reported shooting.

Officers arrived and found a woman shot with life-threatening injuries.

She was taken to the hospital to be treated.
