REPUBLIC, Wash. — A Republic, Washington, woman was killed in a single-car rollover crash on Highway 20 Friday morning.

According to Washington State Patrol (WSP), the car was heading west on Highway 20 near South Clark Avenue when it lost control and rolled over and came to rest off the road.

WSP said the woman, later identified as 78-year-old Fay Norris, was pronounced dead at the scene and was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

WSP added that it is unknown at this time whether drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash.

WSP cited the cause of the crash as "speed too fast for conditions."
