Sun Prairie Fire & Lights Holiday Parade canceled

SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WKOW) -- This year's Sun Prairie Fire & Lights Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony is canceled.

It was scheduled for November 29 at 5:00 p.m., but there may be severe weather at that time. The city states, " Our priority is the safety of participants, spectators, and staff. With a Winter Storm Warning in effect and expected snowfall rates during the event window, proceeding would create significant travel and safety risks.
