On tonight's edition of The One Show, presenters Alex Jones and Clara Amfo welcomed broadcaster Sara Cox, EastEnders icon Jake Wood and Strictly Come Dancing favourite Amy Dowden to the studio.

Amy appeared alongside the BBC hosts on the famous green sofa at the start of the programme before departing to host one of the Pearson National Teaching Awards.

The beloved Welsh professional dancer, who has captured hearts on Strictly , revealed earlier this month that she had undergone her second mastectomy following her initial breast cancer diagnosis in May 2023.
