Patricia “Patsy” Morrison (nee Shaprio) passed away peacefully on Nov. 27, 2025.

Born on May 7, 1940, Patsy was the beloved wife of Harvey (deceased); loving mother of Marc Morrison and Jodi Morrison; cherished aunt, great aunt, devoted teacher and friend to everyone. She was the beloved daughter of Kate and Simon Shapiro.

Patsy was a dedicated and active alumnus of the University of Michigan, having graduated in 1960 with degrees in French and History.

She enjoyed a long teaching career that began in Ann Arbor, and later held positions in the CHUH school district, and at Beachwood High School. Patsy was proud to be the advisor to The Oculus, Beachwood’s yearbook, which won many awards under her direction.
