JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville will host several new experiences along with traditional seasonal activities at its inaugural Holiday River Fest Saturday. Christmas Tree Lighting

This year, the city's annual tree lighting ceremony has a new spot: Riverfront Plaza. Saturday's event marks the soft-opening of the renovated plaza, located at the site of the old Jacksonville Landing.

Beginning at 5 p.m., visitors can enjoy performances from local dancers and musicians, including one from the Alhambra Theatre's "ELF the Musical."
