Air Canada says there is no current impact to its operations after Airbus ordered immediate software changes on its A320 family of aircraft.
Air Canada has 21 A320s while Rouge has five.
Airbus issued the directive after a JetBlue flight from Cancun, Mexico to Newark, New Jersey suddenly and unexpectedly lost altitude on October 30th, injuring a number of passengers. The flight was able to make an emergency landing in Tampa, and the FAA has launched an investigation.
