The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is turning to the public to help identify a vehicle and driver involved in a pedestrian hit-and-run collision in late October.
On Saturday, October 25, at approximately 8 p.m., two male pedestrians were crossing 123 Street at the north curb of 127 Avenue. One of the pedestrians was using a wheelchair, with the other walking beside him.
It was reported to police, and confirmed by CCTV footage, that a red four-door SUV attempted to turn left from 127 Avenue onto 123 Street when it struck the pedestrians, knocking the 31-year-old man from his wheelchair.
The driver briefly stopped and got out of his vehicle to speak with the pedestrians before returning to the vehicle and driving away. The SUV was last seen heading east on 127 Avenue.
