LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
Months after two boys were injured in a house fire in Louisville, body camera video shows the moments police saved one of the boys.
Two Louisville Metro Police Department officers were called to the scene of a fire, where they were notified about a child trapped inside.
Both officers rushed inside to look for the child.
Eventually, a neighbor climbed through a bedroom window and was able to pass the child, who was unconscious, to the officers outside.
The boy was rushed to the hospital, where he spent weeks recovering from the fire.
After the tragic night, the family of the boys asked if they could meet the officers who rushed to help that night.
Months later, the two officers reunited with the boys and shared a touching moment.
