ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A doctor is finally coming face to face with the man who saved his life after he had a heart attack behind the wheel.
For the very first time on Friday, Dr. Kehinde Idowu reconnected with the man he helped save, John Nimmo, who suffered a heart attack and crashed his car while driving on Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell.
“We’ve been waiting for this moment ever since, nine days. I counted down. We communicated back and forth a few times. But it’s been a countdown, and I couldn’t wait to meet him,” Nimmo said.
It’s nothing short of an emotional meeting. But Idowu is just glad he was in the right place at the right time — with the right tools, immediately ready and willing to spring into action.
