The Seattle Kraken welcomed the Seattle Torrent to The Deep.

On Friday, the Kaken attended the PWHL team’s inaugural home opener at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle.

Joey Daccord , Frederick Gaudreau , Tye Kartye , Cale Fleury and Jordan Eberle posed for a picture as they watched the Torrent against the Minnesota Frost.

The home opener broke the U.S. attendance record for a women’s hockey game with 16,014 people in attendance.

In April, the Torrent and Vancouver Goldeneyes were announced as the PWHL’s first two expansion teams in league history.

This isn’t the first time the Kraken have shown support for their roommates this week. On Wednesday, the Kraken rocked Torrent jerseys as they arrived at Climate Pledge for their game against the Dallas Stars.
