Police say they've solved 1988 killing of Delores Thompson

Frederick police have concluded that a man who often visited a woman's downtown Frederick apartment killed her in 1988.

The 37-year-old case was solved through new DNA testing, the police department said Friday in announcing a resolution to the case.
